Establish requirements and KPIs worldwide. Global functional responsibilities and achievement include:

• functional responsibility for project buyers in USA and China

• Introducing project procurement function in USA and China leading to barrier free communication including coaching personnel.

• Optimising the interface to the plants in the USA and China

Develop and implement cost optimisation within projects to target 10-25% of initial savings

Establish and manage project negotiation strategies to achieve final saving of approximately ? 6 million yearly

Involved in the development of drug deliver systems, diagnostic and other medical device products

Define and lead strategic sourcing for new components and new categories single-handedly

Establish benchmark and pre-qualifying criteria (quality, technical and cost) for suppliers to consistently achieve target results

Preselect suppliers and evaluate them in terms of value management and manufacturability of new components in accordance with the required quality standard

Lead contract negotiations at an international level for supplier frame contracts, development agreements and quality assurance agreement to eliminate risks

Manage projects of volume up to ?50 Million with up to 15 ongoing projects per year

The material categories managed within the project procurement role are:

• Chemicals: Silicon parts and tools, Resins

• Metal parts (Needles, springs, pins and such: Electronics (PCBA), Plaster

• Injection molding parts and tools: Rubber parts and tools, Prototypes (incl. 3D printed)

Packaging material categories include:

• Films: Trays and Tubs

• Blister: Tyvek

• Labels: Corrugated cardboard boxes and folded boxes

Collaborate with cross functional team - R&D, quality, program management, finance and sales including assisting in FMEA

Main responsibilities include supplier selection, development, management and qualification Negotiate price and manage contracts

Support of internal and external customers through real-time procurement and continuous supply of goods and services

Conduct complex ?make or buy? analyses and derive recommendations

Management of tertiary packaging materials and medical consumables as well as establishment of the procurement department

Responsible for a purchase value of multi-million Euro per year

Create contracts, new procurement conditions and new processes

Monitor Project to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of all products

Management of all packaging materials, considering new product and market innovations

Responsible for a procurement budget of multi-million Euro per year
