About me:
I have 12 years of SAP ABAP experience. I am living in Germany for 3 years and applied for (PR)- my visa status. I can speak simple Deutsch and can understand good Deutsch. Concerning the aforementioned position, I gained a Master in Computer Application in 2006 from the West Bengal University of Technology with a particular focus on Computer Science. Since graduating from university, my career in SAP ABAP Programming has spanned 12 years and different roles in both the Consulting and In-house industry. I began my career as Junior ABAP Developer at ABP India Pvt Ltd. Following this, I worked for TCS, Capgemini & Cognizant. During my tenure in TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant I have served different clients from different geographical regions which include the USA, UK, Europe, ASPAC, Australia, Latin America. Exposure in Manufacturing, Clothing & Apparel Industry, Life Science Industry. Apart from ABAP good exposure in SD, MM, FI, WM, EWM, HR modules for the Retail & Manufacturing, sector. Working with and managing a team of 5 technical colleagues, I am passionate about mentoring and guiding junior engineers to move into higher roles. I would talk more about this because people management is a great skill to have, even though managing junior developers is different from managing a team of consultants. I have worked in the areas of ABAP like ALE/IDOC, tRFC, qRFC, Bapi, BDC, LDB, Badi, Webdynpro, ABAP OO, ABAP Proxy, Smartform, SapScript, FI BTE, FI Substitution Exit, HR ABAP, HANA CDS, HANA AMDP. I had learned the program Languages like C, C++, Java in Masters and Bachelors. I have done extensive training on SAP Fiori , Odata Service entwicklung. Very good skill on SAP SD , MM , WM,HCM. In order to undertake a more challenging role in an International Environment, I moved to Germany in November 2018 through my work for Cognizant. I was selected for this assignment because of my immense experience in the Manufacturing, Life Science industries and the adaptability of mine in the German Culture, German Work Culture, and German Business environment. I consider my personal strengths to be a clear communicator, able to adapt my style to reflect the audience I am presenting to. I possess strong influencing and persuasion skills as well as the hands-on style necessary to quickly build trust with Clients and Business users. Finally, I feel most at home in an environment where I am expected to take ownership, make decisions and be accountable for them.
