Provide integration for SOLR as search to replace current FredHopper

• Extending and refactoring the external interfaces, like PIM import and the Search Engine Export
• Data anonymization for GDPR compliance
• Tutoring junior developers, also in offshore team

Dodax is creating an e-commerce marketplace. My team developed the backend to allow sellers to upload inventory and manage orders and integrating in the rest of the Dodax universe. The project adopts the microservices approach, and uses either Spring Boot for backend modules or Play Framework for UI module.

My contributions to the project are in backend:

• Data model definition – I defined the data model of the backend modules, using Spring Data JPA and Spring Data Cassandra as ORM.
• REST API definition and implementation – I defined the APIs that connect the various modules, using Jackson for POJO/JSON conversion and Swagger to document said APIs.
• Code Reviews – I conducted code reviews on team members code using GitHub pull requests, with a particular focus on
  performance, readability and code smells.

Ricardoshops.ch is an e-commerce marketplace owned by Ricardo.ch. This project relies on Hybris Accelerator and adopts GIT as versioning system, Jenkins as Continuous Integration tool, Jira to track activities and Confluence as knowledge base.

My contributions to it are:

• Maintenance – I do bug fixing and live editing/retrieval of the data using Beanshells and FlexibleSearches.
• Deployment master – I am responsible for the branching/tagging and perform the deployments of the application.
• Platform Migration – I am the developer who is adapting the codebase to move from Hybris v4 to v5.

These are perfume and cosmetics stores, based on the Infinity Group Core framework. My contributions are:

• Change Requests development - I developed the necessary changes to fit the business needs of Marionnaud to the Infinity Group Core.
• Middleware components development - To make a bridge between Hybris and external systems, I developed several middleware components on top of Oracle Service Bus. In doing so, I gained experience in XPath and XQuery.
• Communication with client - I communicate with the client using the Mantis ticketing system, and I am on duty for night and weekend support.

Infinity Group Core is a custom extension to Hybris framework, developed for e-commerce stores of all brands owned by AsWatson, the largest international health & beauty retailer in Asia and Europe. This project adopts SVN as versioning system, Hudson as Continuous Integration tool and SonarQube as quality management platform. My contributions are:

• Backend functionalities development - I planned and developed the implementation of several backend functionalities, like upselling product selection, real-time integration with an external promotion engine, daily export of customers information to external CRM. In doing so, I gained extensive experience in Java, Design patterns, Spring, and the Hybris backend functionalities, like model extension, FlexibleSearches and Beanshells.
• Technical documentation production - I produced the technical documentation for the functionalities I developed, adhering to
  Accenture specifications.
