The Goal is to find the best Process and identify the Requirements to scan and transform the paper written information into digital information based o well defined Digital Assets integrated with a set of standards.

Tasks + Objectives:

Review of the complete Collection Goldmann Archive and Identification of the tectonically structure of the Collection also the Documents within the Collection. Identification of the best Practises of Scan Process and the OCR++ Approach based of a Machine Learning Concept. And the Transformation of the recognized Documents Content into the Standard Definitions METS, EAD, Dublin Core und TEI.

Part A:

Concept and Setup of a pilot's system for long-term archiving historical documents on the base of the model OIAS in the implementing as a cloud based solution and as Software as a Service (SaaS) respectively Archive as a Service (AaaS). Implmentation of a professional Archive and Collection Management and the preservation of historical document as a high-resolution Digitalisat.

Part B:

Project Management and Development of a project plan as well as the budgeting for the conversion in a land competition of the town / country Berlin

Part C:

Technical consultation with the preservation and processing of contents of historical documents by a procedure of the text formatting as well as text recognition. Development of a strategy for the protection of historical documents against forgery. Analysis and reconstruction of historical circumstances based on contents extracts from the available document material.

Historical documents are the irreparable memory of a country, an epoch and people. This information is gathered completely, the basis for historical research with the help of relevant facts and information. Aim is to present the information digitally available on the Internet to interested personal groups and organisation. As support of the quality management and the performance of team work for the production line SAP CoE Cloud Logistics and SAP Demo Cloud (SDC) a tool chain system was planned, designed and implemented as pilot installation. The core tools for that system named Production Management System (PMS-C) are used JIRA, Confluence, Crowd, FishEye / Crucible, Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus, etc. The tools are customized on the requirements of the team needs and extened by specialized plugins. Objective was the installation of a well-defined process of the Cloud Logistics production lines and the development of components of the Cloud Logistics and SAP Solutions.

Results:

Pre-productive Production Management System (PMS-C) with the base of the core products JIRA / Confluence / Crowd. Continuous increasing number of users. At least 250 users in 8 month.

Based on the idea of a fully autonome working data center with a strong virtualized environment of servers and the cost respect. time saving administration / management of a virtual server system (Cloud based system) the team build up the system in sense of a new strategy of hosting for e-Business applications.

Evaluation of different architectures and principles of virtualization of cloud infrastructure. Making of concepts and architectural planning of the usage of XEN and KVM. Within the scope of the implementing of a professional component for the CMS Joomla! if a use SOA on the base is developed by web service. Moreover, it is entered within the scope of the development by project Management methods on the specific features of the agile action model and the management as a Near Offshore project management.

Tasks + Objectives:

Development of the basic architecture of the component / use cases on the base of demands from customer inquiries. Development of the project planning based on the norms of PMA/IPMA as well as development of an integration of methods of the classical project management approach and the agile methodology of SCRUM. Definition of working packages and from it of resultant duties for the developer team in the Ukraine.

Results:

The project planning to PMA/IPMA and the Evaluation of the Middleware products were concluded. The development of a Proof of Concepts is ordered after end of the analysis and the design. The project will be finalized in the end of 2010.

Form the devision “retail and deales” of the Daimler Group implements a new point of sales platform.
