Roger Pitton leitete das Einführungsprojekt, wobei er stets der Kundennutzen, die Stabilität der Plattform als Priorität betrachtete, die rechtzeitige Integration neuer Funktionen sicherstellte und das Team auf die kritischen Aktivitäten konzentrierte.

Er trug dazu bei, die Anforderungen in Ergebnisse umzusetzen, einschließlich der IT/OSS/BSS-Integration, der Betriebsbereitschaft und des Kundensupports. Dies erforderte eine enge Koordination und Planung der von den Partnern (Nagra, 3SS, Sagemcom, Simply.tv, Broadpeak, Harmonic) zu liefernden Technologien, um den Zeitplan einzuhalten.

Zu den kritischen Aktivitäten gehörten die Durchführung von Abnahmetests, die Optimierung der Leistung und die Vermeidung von Betriebsunterbrechungen.

Während des gesamten Projekts wurde ein datengestützter Ansatz verfolgt, der die Leistung der komplexen Technologie und des gesamten Fernsehdienstes umfasste, um die Entscheidungsfindung und das Risikomanagement zu unterstützen.
