- Consulting background process optimization: I have many years of experience as an independent consultant. As a LEAN expert and specialist for process optimization, I have conducted process analysis and optimization projects in various industries (steel production, production process catering, automotive supplier, airline, healthcare, online broker...) over the last years. With different methods such as value stream analysis or the 5-lens approach I have analyzed the areas together with the employees and identified and implemented optimization potentials. My ability to quickly analyze and understand complex topics and processes and my passion to optimize directly "at the front line" with the involved employees always helped me a lot here. In addition, as an internal project manager and consultant in the Lufthansa Group, I have had the opportunity to lead a large number of projects in various commercial and operational areas in Germany and abroad.
- Organizational development: In the context of process optimization projects, it is always a logical consequence that an evaluation of roles & responsibilities is carried out together with the management. Often it is useful and necessary to adapt the organizational structure to the changed processes. I have developed and implemented these new organizational structures several times directly at the customer's site, taking into account various factors such as qualifications, age structure and future orientation of the company.
- Project management experience: Especially in the last 8 years I have structured and managed a large number of small and large projects. I have always worked very closely with the management and team members, contributing a variety of new ideas and ensuring that tasks / milestones were completed on time. In particular, the clear definition of the project scope, the continuous communication and involvement of all participants as well as the ongoing quality assurance of the topic execution via KPI's have proven to be the biggest success factors in managing the projects. In addition to the waterfall / agile project management, I have always focused on "relieving and empowering" the sub-project managers. On the one hand to relieve them of work and to support them when it was not possible to complete everything on time. On the other hand, I also coach them, i.e. show them how to prioritize correctly and how they can work on topics more effectively.
- Analytical Skillset: My great strength, which is always emphasized by all colleagues / superiors / clients, is the ability to get used to a new environment extremely quickly, to understand and analyze new situations directly and to draw the right conclusions from them. Regardless of which industry I have been working in over the past years, I have always been able to familiarize myself very quickly with all topics and identify problem areas/optimization potential. Thus, I was always able to be an important help to the companies as "consultant for optimization" and "implementation supporter".
- Communication expertise: In recent years I have communicated at all levels in companies, depending on the target group and content. In addition to direct communication and presentation of the results, I have often communicated decisions made or solutions developed with employees in results workshops in order to promote the targeted implementation of the topics.
- Change Management Expertise: The redefinition of processes and the introduction of resulting changes was only the beginning in companies. I often supported the implementation of the topics and accompanied the change. In addition to communication measures, one recipe for success was to actively involve employees in the change process at an early stage and to let them participate in shaping "the future". Workshops with different contents and participants take time here, but in the medium and long term they help enormously to minimize fears and increase acceptance of the initiated measures. The scientific background of my Master thesis, in which I was able to analyze the "Success Factors of Change Management in International Comparison", also helps me to accompany the change or change management.
